Itinerary

Upon arrival at Varanasi Railway Station/Airport, transfer to your hotel for check-in and refreshment.

In the evening, proceed to Dashashwamedh Ghat to witness the world-famous Ganga Aarti Ceremony. Experience the divine atmosphere filled with chants, diyas (lamps), and spiritual energy.

Start the day early with a refreshing cup of tea before heading to the ghats for a sunrise boat ride on the Ganges. Observe pilgrims performing rituals and get a unique glimpse of life along the ghats. Visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, one of the most famous shrines of Lord Shiva, and the Annapurna Devi Temple, Goddess of food and nourishment.

Begin your day with a drive to Sarnath, located just 10 km east of Varanasi. This sacred site is one of the most important Buddhist centers in India. It was here that Lord Buddha, after attaining enlightenment, delivered his first sermon. Visit the Deer Park, where this historic event took place, and explore the Sarnath Museum, which houses rare artifacts, sculptures, and Ashokan pillars.

Later, continue your journey to Lamhi Village, situated west of Sarnath. This serene village is the birthplace of the legendary Hindi and Urdu writer Munshi Premchand, celebrated as the greatest storyteller of Indian rural life and its struggles. After lunch, proceed to Sarai Mohana Village, famous for Banarasi silk weaving. Meet skilled artisans who create world-renowned Banarasi saris with intricate zari (gold and silver thread) embroidery. Learn about their techniques, see live weaving demonstrations, and understand why these saris are treasured bridal attire across India.

Return to Varanasi in the evening. Overnight stay at the hotel.
